The film “Veterans Speak About PTSD” features military personnel who are recovering from the traumas of combat with the help of their loyal, highly trained service dogs.  They speak about their personal challenges with coming home and post-traumatic stress, and the healing power of the human-canine bond that helps redirect their focus and nourishes their will to live. 22 U.S. veterans commit suicide every day.

“The short on HEAL! that opened up tonight said it all. Heal veterans. That’s been my mantra since Vietnam and it still is today.”
— Floyd “Shad” Meshad, founder of the National Veterans Foundation, and the author/founder of the VA’s Vet Center program.

[Featured speaker at the Veterans, Soldiers & Sailors Cinema Festival, Los Angeles, CA, Veterans Day 2015]
